the best 'bugout bag' is your body!
The bugout bag is meant to be carried easily with you in cases of emergency. It's meant to feed you, keep you warm, and provide you with essential tools to help survive the first few days after a cataclysm.
A well-nourished body will basically supply all of this and more! A malnourished person, on the other hand, will quickly feel hungry, thirsty, weak, and foggy.
Someone with a toxic body will go through detox and withdrawal symptoms. Someone whose fundamentally dehydrated [like most people!] will experience thirst quickly, as well as the weakness from dehydration.
Health consists mainly of these 3 aspects:
- gut flora
Things like vitamins, pH, or energy reserves are a RESULT of the above (or strongly influenced by them). It's not just how much you have, it's how efficient your body functions and THAT has to do with gut flora, mineralization, and level of toxicity.
You will withstand cold, thirst, hunger, and stress much better if your body is mineralized, hydrated, rich with good bacteria, full of hormonal reserves, and lacking toxins. Not only that but it's a weight issue; a healthy body:
- doesn't carry around kilos of fat (which your body uses to store toxins in)
- needs to use, and therefore to carry around, less food and liquids
- works better, can withstand more, and does it on less.
The mainstream foods out there now contain 10 to 20% of the mineral value they did 30 years ago... if you're lucky. It could easily be much less. Most people are generally
- stressed (or hormonally weak)
Maybe worse than all of that is that most people are utterly IGNORANT about what makes up nutritional foods. They don't know how to make them, they don't know OF them, and they don't know how to choose from the sources at hand. Then, to make matters worse, they don't know about the basic rules about HOW to eat what there IS available.
For instance, WHEN you eat makes a huge difference to how quickly, efficiently, and well your body can deal with WHAT you eat.
In other words: one of the greatest aspects of your body-as-bugout-bag is WHAT YOU HAVE WITH YOU IN YOUR BRAIN! [i.e. what you know.]
No amount of work, support, or funds will replace the knowledge that ancient cultures partially achieved after millennia of trial and error. No amount of frenzy, ruthlessness, or begging will give you THEN what you can achieve peacefully TODAY.
You need to do your detox, mineralization, hydration, adrenal support, and probiotic foods NOW.
