Money / poverty
A community takes money to create, or does it?
We can all use the Law of Attraction to create that which we need, but the thing is DO WE ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT WE NEED?
I know that there is a community which has been going for a long time that was actually created without the need for money, and it is still going strong many decades later. I believe it is on one of the Spanish islands, Ibiza springs to mind, although I am pretty sure it's not that one...lol
It would help a lot if we actually owned some land, but at this stage that is not possible and may not be possible for a while yet.
So, let's hear some honest feedback from ALL involved in how or if we can actually make this happen without much money?

Re: Money, or lack of...
diet: rice, sardines [the little ones; sardinellas in Spanish], onions, olive oil.
lunch: oats, flax seed, dried fruit like goji berries
the rest: what we grow
Stay away from the sandwiches [bocadillos] and € 5 pizzas, don't travel much.
Enjoy the quiet, nature, company, hiking, working on building paradise; it's all free.
I'm saying that our greatest expenses come from pampering ourselves. Am i wrong?

Re: Money, or lack of...
I would agree that we should keep our diet simple, and I am sure some people may/will struggle with this, and that we should keep our living simple and focus on growing our own food as rapidly and effectively as possible.
I suggested in another post of doing square foot gardening, using the wetpots as the drip irrigation and using sea water as a fertilizer.
If we PLAN it well, and spend our money well, then I think we can pretty much put up with having a boring diet for a few months while we are waiting for our first crops to grow.

Survival on a Budget
Some of you would of read these before, but for those of you that haven't then you should.
It's not exactly easy reading, but is anything, when we are basically talking about old school survival.
Collapse Survival On A Budget - Part I
Part II
Part III
Where To Live And Collapse Survival
There is no talk of conspiracy or aliens on this site, it's is purely about the collapse of modern civilization. Read it, cry about how bad it will [may] be, but then BLOODY WELL DO SOMETHING.
Also check out some of his other work, such as:
Future Prep - Index
[moved post; originally from this Jay Pierce character
my reply:]
"police state, which will impose controls on only the ‘lawful’ citizens (which is how it actually works now)"
I like this guy
[Jay again:]
I have read this guys work for a number of years, he never talks about the NWO, because as he says "it's like telling most people the ocean is blue..."
I don't agree with all of his work, although when he talks about collapse etc, I listen.
