Curcumin, along with several other nutrients, is remarkable in that it can actually tell the difference between a healthy cell and a cancer cell. According to Wellness Resources, here is how the researchers explained their interest in curcumin: “’ ... Curcumin (diferuloylmethane) ... is one of the most powerful and promising chemopreventive and anticancer agents ... How curcumin exerts its powerful anticancer activities has been thoroughly investigated, and several mechanisms of action have been discovered ... curcumin exerts its biological activities through epigenetic modulation.’” In other words, curcumin changes the regulation of DNA to help kill cancer. In fact, curcumin not only influences epigenetic settings, it also manages the downstream consequences, helping to guide multiple steps in the way gene orders are implemented. All of our cultural ignorance has to do with the very selective way our so-called authorities deal with scientific research, logic, and common sense. What do i mean by that? Politics, corporate media, and certified professionals [including the pharmaceutical industry] pick-n-choose when it comes to science. They also apply what can be called "best-guess" science. They also don't care about consistency or have a problem with contradiction. People like Atom Bergstrom and Keith Scott simply research the research. For more than 100 years scientific researchers have been publishing their finds in scientific journals, spreading their knowledge, understanding, and experience with their peers. A great deal of all of that, however, never gets beyond getting published; universities, professionals, and politics ignore it for various reasons. Atom Bergstrom even talks about "medical amnesia", which is to say that not only does research not get incorporated into basic teaching, understanding, and application,, but actually much knowledge is lost after it has been applied successfully for many years. Atom Bergstrom has found out that much medical knowledge, based on hard scientific research that was never contested by the scientific community, is now ignored and generally unknown. He says that there was specifically a turning-point around 1950 when much knowledge before that era became lost. Much of it has also never been put online and is only to be found in libraries. He spends much of his time perusing libraries, finding the pieces of the puzzle of science that was once done but is now all but lost. Keith Scott has simply also been perusing medical journals/research on the matter of spices. He finds research/proof to support the importance of taking spices, which one, why, in what amounts, etc. The kind of knowledge he has collected in his book and that he puts out on his website, isn't contested; it is utter science. Utter IGNORED science. Our culture tends to ignore spices. If anything, we fear them. We've been warned against them and just to be sure, we're very careful about taking too much of them, if we use them at all. Scientific research, apparently, suggests that the reason ancient cultures all over the world and in all eras of mankind's history have applied spices in great amounts is because they are very beneficial, useful, and necessary. Science that does not kowtow to corporate media, polititians, and the scientific average/consensus,, is available to all through the internet. Misplaced faith in so-called authorities is all that stands between people and true knowledge.nondisclosed_email@example.com (TheLivingShadow)Sun, 03 Jul 2011 13:36:40 +0000 Re: spice 'news'https://b2012overleven.runboard.com/p222,from=rss#post222https://b2012overleven.runboard.com/p222,from=rss#post222Here is the online list of ingredients to the spice formula that Keith Scott advises: * Turmeric root 110mg - Curcuma longa * Cinnamon bark 80mg - Cinnamomum zeylanicum * Coriander seed 80mg - Coriandrum sativum * Ginger root 80mg - Zingiber officinale * Fenugreek seed 25mg - Trigonella foenum-graecum * Green tea leaf 20mg - Camellia sinensis * Lemon zest fruit 15mg - Citrus limon * Paprika fruit 10mg - Capsicum annum * Caraway seed 10mg - Carum carvi * Basil leaf 10mg - Ocimum basilicum * Oregano leaf 10mg - Origanum vulgare * Parsley leaf 10mg - Petroselinum crispum * Allspice/pimento fruit 10mg - Pimenta dioica 10mg * Black pepper seed 10mg - Piper nigrum 10mg * Rosemary leaf 10mg - Rosmarinus officinalis * Sage leaf 10mg - Salvia officinalis * Clove bud 10mg - Syzygium aromaticum * Thyme leaf 10mg - Thymus vulgaris * Dill seed 5mg - Anethum gravelens * Cumin seed 5mg - Cuminum cyminum * Liquorice root 5mg - Glycyrrhiza glabra * Mustard seed 5mg - Sinapis alba Whether he's legit or not, the way he makes his ebook free to download and the above NOT a secret is amazing and laudable. It appears spices may be lacking in our (bland) diets. Check out his website and introductory YouTube video. As a supplement, one can order a month supply for $ 13,50. Most amazing is the free ebook one can download there. Truth Calkins podcast on turmericnondisclosed_email@example.com (theseed)Wed, 03 Nov 2010 06:52:48 +0000
