TEOMCROTE = TEOTWAWKI on steroids! The End Of Mankind's Current Reign Over The Earth takes into account that our ancestors were neither suicidal, stupid, nor our genetic inferiors but still wound up getting wiped off the Earth. Whereas CSER [cser.org: Centre for Study of Existential Risk] tries to PREVENT this dispensation from coming to an end, TEOMCROTE works from the eventuality/possibility/probability that the end our age takes place and what to do then

Circadian Rhythm and Your Brain's Clock

Alternative Sleep Cycles: 7-10 Hours Are Not Needed
there are 4 other sleep cycles that can provide all the benefits of sleep, while sleeping much less.
- Siesta
- The Everyman cycle; a sleep schedule consisting of one 3.5 hour core sleep and 3 x 20 minute naps spread out over the day, designed to counteract the natural drops in our alertness as dictated by our Circadian and Ultradian rhythms.
- The Dymaxion cycle; consists of 4 x 30 minute sleeps throughout the day which totals 2 hours of sleep.
- The Uberman cycle; consists of 20 minute naps totalling 2 to 3 hours of sleep per day.

12 Weird Ways to Fall Asleep

8 Sleeping Positions & Their Effects On Health

Improve your sleep quality by waking up naturally
In a study conducted by the National Institute of Industrial Health in Japan, participants who were suddenly forced awake had higher blood pressure and heart rate than those allowed to wake up in their own time.
Alarms can also add to your overall stress levels. The sudden noise triggers the body's protective 'fight or flight' response, pumping up your adrenaline levels. While this might be useful to get you to work on time, if this activated state persists over days, weeks and months, it can lead to chronic stress.
Scientists found that when people were woken during deep sleep, this affected short-term memory, cognitive abilities and even counting skills, according to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association earlier this year.
