The price for the DVD includes many pdf's to support your research to becoming self-sufficient. These people deserve the $ 25 the DVD costs, but it can be downloaded for free via Demonoid if you want to check it out first or really can't afford it.nondisclosed_email@example.com (theseed)Sat, 11 Sep 2010 09:29:15 +0000 Greening arid earthhttps://b2012overleven.runboard.com/p23,from=rss#post23https://b2012overleven.runboard.com/p23,from=rss#post23I agree with Ivan Stein that one's better off going to look for a TERRIBLE place to live now, so people won't come to your location begging for food or looking to steal scraps later. As far as most anyone is concerned then, your location isn't worth anyone's trouble; your challenge: to make a thriving agricultural oasis where no one expects it so no one will come looking for it WTSHTF. But how to accomplish this? Using cutting-edge tactics the internet supplies that normal people have never heard of, which is why normal people leave arid regions for the goats. There's so much to do to green 'desert' and all kinds of challenging areas; - permaculture, - EM, - terra preta, - seasalt agriculture, - hydroponics, - magnetite, - even farming with seawater. All such regions need are knowledge and a bit of investment (but not that much since these are all very affordable tactics that require knowledge more than anything else). One very important thing to keep in mind is that it does take a while to get the underground microorganisms going so you might want to give yourself a few years. Barry Carter used ORMUS to fertilize the soil, coming up with amazing walnuts, 3 times larger than normal but it did take 3 years for the tree to grow that large and start producing that kind of fruit. Such a tree or plant will also stand up to draught or cold that would kill any other but, again, only if it's gotten the time to soak up all of the minerals it needs to achieve it's superior state. So it's time to find a location and start turning it around NOW. By the time it's 2012 you'll be ready, but you WON'T be if you start fertilizing the soil in 2012. Good fruit, as well, will keep much much longer than regular poor fruit, also making your stores last longer for WTSHTF. You'll also be mineralizing your own body by eating said fruits of your labor and location, making yourself resistent to hard times and making it possible to eat less, yet remain better nourished. nondisclosed_email@example.com (theseed)Wed, 09 Dec 2009 22:10:26 +0000
