TEOMCROTE = TEOTWAWKI on steroids! The End Of Mankind's Current Reign Over The Earth takes into account that our ancestors were neither suicidal, stupid, nor our genetic inferiors but still wound up getting wiped off the Earth. Whereas CSER [cser.org: Centre for Study of Existential Risk] tries to PREVENT this dispensation from coming to an end, TEOMCROTE works from the eventuality/possibility/probability that the end our age takes place and what to do then

depression

10 minutes into this talk by David Wolfe he mentions Tryptophan as an anti-depressant. [Foods containing tryptophan] Most common: egg.

Vit D [sunlight], good fats (in 'large' amounts), and (megadosing) niacin (Vit B3) are other things to consider when suffering from depression.

Anything that's generally good for health helps against depression, expecially detox of neural toxins.

neurological trauma

Omega-3 foods essential to treat nerve damage after traumatic injury

People that have suffered a traumatic injury face an uphill battle as they attempt to regain their health and fight the risk of depression as a long term consequence of the event. British researchers from Queen Mary at the University of London have published the result of a study in the Journal of Neuroscience that explains how omega-3 fatty acids play a significant role in preventing and protecting nerves from injury. The research focused on peripheral nerve cells which transmit signals between the brain and the spinal cord to the rest of the body. Omega-3 fats from food sources including sardines, salmon, walnuts and flax seeds provide for decreased cell death from injury and may offer significant protection against future damage.

Intermittent fasting promotes brain health
According to a new study carried out at the National Institute on Aging in Baltimore, fasting for one or two days each week may help improve the condition of individuals suffering from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Researchers have found that stopping nearly all food intake for short periods of time triggers a protection mechanism within the brain which also works against the effects of neurodegenerative disorders.

bacterial threats

The Hidden Cause of Psychiatric Disorders Almost No One Considers
Streptococcus bacteria, which cause strep throat, scarlet fever, and other infections such as pneumonia, may also be responsible for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in children.
The Streptococcus bacteria create proteins that mimic human proteins, thereby evading your immune system.
Once your immune system identifies them as "foreign invaders," it begins creating antibodies.
However, these antibodies can also attack human tissues such as your heart, joints, and brain.
Several years ago, evidence emerged suggesting that this attack on the brain can inflame brain structures, which possibly could trigger OCD (or OCD-like symptoms) in children.

Parkinson’s

Nitty Gritty on Parkinson’s
Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) said a person with Parkinson’s Disease is “stuck in park.” Epilepsy and Parkinsonianism appear to be contrasting syndromes.
In the words of …
Margaret A. Kennard, M.D., “Autonomic Interrelationships with the Somatic Nervous System,” Psychosomatic Medicine, Jan.-Feb. 1947, “When such a person [with Parkinsonianism] is asked to move, especially if the movement is difficult to perform, tremor will increase or appear for the first time. Because of this, such tremors have been called intention tremors by some clinicians. Others, noting the presence of tremor in some individuals in the absence of active voluntary movements, have termed these tremors of rest, in contrast to the intention tremor of the cerebellar lesion. Probably neither of these terms are accurate, for involuntary movements which result from subcortical lesions, chorea, atheosis, or tremor are never present during sleep and are absent or minimal during complete muscular relaxation. They are thus directly related to degree of muscle tension. This is in contrast to epilepsy which often appears during sleep, and which seems to be chiefly cortical in origin.”
The personality characteristics of Parkinsonians have been comprehensively investigated.
In the words of …
Gotthard Booth, M.D., “Psychodynamics in Parkinsonism,” Psychosomatic Medicine, Jan.-Feb. 1948, “The personality of the Parkinsonian is characterized by the following traits:
“1. Aggressive drive toward external action which is correlated with emphasis on
“2. The locomotor system as its executive organ;
“3. Anxiety for superiority and independence from external influences;
“4. Identification with a rigid parent;
“5. Concern with impersonal social responsibilities;
“6. Experiences of competitive weakness and external restrictions in childhood.
“The result of these traits is an attitude toward life which may be described as a religious attitude toward success.”

Robert Von on ASEA
Parkinson’s disease, there was a woman he saw coming out of the hotel, she was shaking so bad she couldn’t even sign a check if she tried… he greeted her with a bottle of ASEA and she looked at him funny, crossed her hands and took a step back, he laughed, and said, no, no, my wife and I are in town at the same hotel… I saw you shaking like a leaf and wanted you to try this tonight, 1 oz (2 TBL) at night tonight and 1 oz in the morning and if it does nothing then I’ll be by tomorrow morning to pick up the bottle and my wife and I will finish it off for ourselves, since we’re leaving tomorrow… and if it’s worth it to you then you can just pay me for it then,… she loved this idea…
I mean what could possibly happen?? He greeted her the next morning at which she opened the door and paid him $32 and wasn’t shaking at alllllll!!! It may not be a cure for Parkinson’s but since Parkinson’s is an amazing glutathione deficiency disease (among other things) I told understood why this worked… you’ll get it in a second when I explain later…

As he’s talking I’m thinking to myself, wait a second!!! If this is good with neurologicals and etc… then must be better at MS, ALS, dementia… etc.. 5 mins later what are the next words ouf his mouth???? It works best with MS, ALS, Autism (oh right, wondered about
that one too), and dementia (can’t wait to see what happens with Alzheimer’s!) - hehe – I asked saying I know about the wonders of chlorine dioxide but his is above the affects of even that just alone… I asked why? He said remember that Parkinson’s lady? Massive
glutathione deficiency??? Of course… well in ONE SINGLE RECOMMENDED AMT OF THIS ASEA – GLUTATHIONE ANDDDD SOD (SUPER OXIDE DISMUTASE) INCREASE BY 500% …. I said, wait, no way, what is in this stuff!!! He just said to "See The Studies" LOL, do you knowwwww what can be accomplished when you find a way to get REAL glutathione manufactured by the body in abundance!!! Do you know what happens to a person on chemo and radiation when they have tons of glutathione in them???? NOOOOOO hair loss, no toxic side effects felt, no energy loss, no feeling like you’ve been run over by a truck after a dose of chemo!!! That’s glutathione!! Only two other products on earth that I know can make the body produce glutathione and this was easier than them both, uh, and cheaper too!

MMR causes autism, proven in Italian court case
Whilst the mainstream medical profession deny the link between autism and the triple shot of measles, mumps and rubella, there have been many who have argued to the contrary. Statistics show the increases in autism correlate alarmingly with the introduction and uptake of the MMR vaccine. And Now in an Italian court, there has been a landmark ruling for a child whose parents claim that his autism was triggered by MMR.

Theoretical Aspects of Autism: Causes

44 minutes into this podcast with Dr. Gary Gordon he mentions the pollution connection with autism, lead specifically.

They Outnumber Your Cells Ten to One and Are the Core of Your Health
Neural toxins like mercury, aluminum, and flouride appear to be at issue and because of their presence gut flora really appear to be off. In other words: detox and probiotics.
Loads of doable detox and chelating options mentioned here on the board as well as how to make probiotic foods.
One may not imagine giving one's child beer as a food, but it WAS a food for all ages for millennia (when autism didn't exist). High alcohol content not necessary when brewing is done yourself.
Everyday sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir, etc. should not be considered an exaggeration by anyone suffering from bowel problems (or bowel-related problems like autism).

As more and more children participate in Kerri's protocols for longer and longer periods of time they are beginning to come through as fully recovered at a faster rate. No one else in the world has brought about as many fully recovered Autistic children during that time. Using the Sacraments of our Church is one thing, but using them correctly is totally another. Kerri developed the protocols for healing autism over the past 20 months as she responded to more than 2000 different cases of autism.

CoQ10 helps heal neurodegenerative disease
A Japanese medical scientist, unnamed in the reports, allowed colleagues to do a clinical evaluation of CoQ10 for ALS on him. The 75-year-old scientist had been diagnosed with onset ALS in the year 2000. By 2005, it had progressed to the point of interfering with his most common mundane activities.
He was treated with a highly bioavailable form of coenzyme Q10 (solubilized ubiquinol, Tishcon Corp., NY), starting at 200 mg, twice daily for 4 weeks (at which point he already experienced improvements), followed by 500 mg, twice daily, and then back down to 200 mg twice daily.
His improvements were significant with most of his voluntary motor activity returning along with restoring his grip. The rate of muscular weakening was lowered as well.
It's always important to take Vit. C with Q10 since Vit. C is relatively cheap and improves the effectiveness of the expensive Q10.

BIOAGE autism testimonial
My son, aged 6, is not yet speaking. Doctors think he is on autism spectrum based on the autistic-like characteristics he presents. He has been on [BIOAGE] since December 2011 and in that short span of time his school staff and I have both seen some startling positive changes. Overall, there is a big change in his personality and his socialization skills are also improving. He has gained weight and height and his thyroid levels were within normal range.

Optimum magnesium intake might prevent ADD/ADHD, Alzheimer's and mental decline
Magnesium, the fourth most abundant mineral in the body, plays a crucial role in activating over 300 chemical responses. It is responsible for the proper formation of bones, maintaining normal muscle function, regulating body temperature, and proper absorption of calcium. Increasingly, medical science is coming to believe that magnesium and other minerals missing from today's diet might prevent cognitive disorders such as ADD, ADHD and bipolar disorder, as well as help prevent Alzheimer's and mental decline as we age.

Ancient Herb Proven to be a Potential Cure for Alzheimer's
Researchers at the National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), however, have conducted studies on mice that suggest ashwaganda extract may reverse memory loss and improve cognitive abilities in those with the disease. Initially, mice with Alzheimer's were unable to learn or retain what they learned, but after receiving ashwaganda for 20 days, this improved significantly. After 30 days, the behavior of the mice returned to normal. Researchers reported:
•A reduction in amyloid plaques (amyloid plaques, along with tangles of nerve fibers, contribute to the degradation of the wiring in brain cells)
•Improved cognitive abilities
Rather than impacting the brain directly, researchers found that the herb worked by boosting a protein in the liver, which enters the bloodstream and helps clear amyloid from the brain. Researchers concluded:
"The remarkable therapeutic effect of W. somnifera [ashwaganda] … reverses the behavioral deficits and pathology seen in Alzheimer's disease models."

Prevalence of Alzheimer's rises 10% in 5 years - the aspartame link

Mercola article: This Antioxidant Dramatically Inhibits Alzheimer's Disease Progression
Oxidative stress and neuronal energy depletion are characteristic hallmarks of Alzheimer's disease. It has been hypothesized that, because of this, pro-energetic and antioxidant drugs such as alpha-lipoic acid might delay the onset or slow down the progression of the disease.
In one study, alpha-lipoic acid was given daily to nine patients with Alzheimer's disease. The treatment led to a stabilization of cognitive functions in the study group.
According the study:
"... [T]he progression [of Alzheimer's for patients taking alpha-lipoic acid] appears dramatically lower than data reported for untreated patients or patients on choline-esterase inhibitors in the second year of long-term studies ... [O]ur data suggest that treatment with alpha-lipoic acid might be a successful 'neuroprotective' therapy option."
Separate research also revealed that alpha lipoic acid, in combination with vitamin E and acetyl-l-carnitine, led to improvements in potential biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease and showed promise for slowing the progression of the disease.
Dr. Peter Whitehouse wrote The Myth of Alzheimer's which explains the truth behind Alzheimer's and that it was just a disease made up for medical political reason.
This is mentioned by Dr. Gary Gordon about 46 minutes into hour 2 of this podcast.
