TEOMCROTE = TEOTWAWKI on steroids! The End Of Mankind's Current Reign Over The Earth takes into account that our ancestors were neither suicidal, stupid, nor our genetic inferiors but still wound up getting wiped off the Earth. Whereas CSER [cser.org: Centre for Study of Existential Risk] tries to PREVENT this dispensation from coming to an end, TEOMCROTE works from the eventuality/possibility/probability that the end our age takes place and what to do then

The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us is an inspirational video on the nature of humanity.

The dog-eat-dog paradigm is NOT inherent to human nature at all, which is well illustrated by this vid.

TPTB would have us believe that Darwin's research points to survival of the fittest pointing to humans being each other's worst enemies, but the truth is (for anyone who's actually read Darwin) that the so-called survival of the fittest is about inter-species strife and NOT about INTRA-species interactions, an aspect that Piotr Kropotkin illustrated so well, even while Darwin still lived.

This video is quite interesting because it makes clear how willing others probably are to help you out when you set clear, fair, and interesting goals.

new study suggests: 95% = sheeple

Study proves 95% of people really are sheeple

Scientists at the University of Leeds have conducted research that proves the tendency many have to act like sheep, unwittingly following crowd as if they didn't possess a reasoning mind. While this tendency may have its uses in some situations, such as planning pedestrian flow in busy areas, it doesn't inspire a ton of hope for humankind.

The study showed that it takes a minority of just five percent to influence a crowd's direction - and that the other 95 percent follow without even realizing what is going on.

Professor Krause, with PhD student John Dyer, conducted a series of experiments in which groups of volunteers walked randomly around a large hall. Within the group, a few received instructions regarding where to walk. Participants were not allowed to communicate with one or intentionally influence anyone.

The findings in all cases revealed that the informed individuals were followed by the others in the crowd, forming a self-organizing, snake-like structure (or flock of sheep, take your pick).

Kinda contrary to the suggestions given in the above article, it's so hard for sheeple to change (in a sheeple society) that TALKING about such things, especially in a manner suggestive that things can change, seems very counterproductive.
Sheeple ARE. They're here, they're here to stay. At least as long as nothing changes radically. [Literally, i.e. at the root.]

Such studies about the mainstream should motivate the few who are ABLE to live differently to acknowledge the threats we all face (i.e. sheeple and free souls alike).
Many posts on this board have covered the science, logic, and common sense about why so many people are so mentally challenged. The science is out there for any willing, able, and mature enough to access and accept.

The sheeple allow TPTB to order them to dig their own graves and that's exactly what's going on in the world. The intelligent thing is not to waste time averting what is a sure thing [for how can you change either power structures or 95% of people?] but to take action and be(come) prepared to deal with what will inevitably become the reality of all. Intelligent people can see it coming but only the mature will ACCEPT it coming... and act!
Today.

reaching others

When you try to reach out to others, there are a number of things that get in the way. Common culture is that these things are random, mysterious, and cannot be overcome. That's just because the processes are misunderstood by the mainstream.

The problem is getting others to accept the facts, logic, and common sense that you're interested in sharing. There are good reasons why others cannot accept the facts, logic, and sense that you've accessed yourself. The first mistake is in ASSUMING that a lack of information is about information. It's not. It's about access, access that has to do with whoever's faced with the facts, logic, or sense presented. There are many good reasons why people are where they are, why they know, understand, and live life as they do; many things that have nothing to do with access in the sense they they're not being presented with said facts/logic/sense.

There are 2 main reasons why people cannot [i.e. it's not about desire or intention] accept certain facts/logic/sense:
- they lack the pegs, i.e. the intellectual precursors upon which to hang what's being presented;
- there are assumptions, beliefs, misinformation, or misunderstanding IN THE WAY of accepting them.

I've used the example to illustrate before but it works so well that here it comes again: 1992 i worked with 3 colleagues in an office and one NewYear's they all quit smoking at once. After a few days the office started smelling like office machines instead of cigarette smoke. Here's the point: we did not acquire a new faculty. The smell of machines was there all along but now the smell of smoke no longer got in the way. None of us had to LEARN how to smell the machines. Our noses didn't get more sensitive. It's just that what was in the way was no longer there.

Another way of putting it might be to imagine meditation: when one quiets the mind, deeper things can emerge, resulting in intuition, for instance, that eludes the mind clouded by everyday distractions. It's the same mind that is able to experience whatever comes up during meditation, it's just that whatever's usually in the way (temporarily) isn't any longer.
(Health in general is another example: if disease is absent health is enjoyed, but health is always there in the background, like the Sun behind the clouds.)

The same applies to people acquiring facts/logic/sense; you can't hang a fact up on a peg in your mind if that peg is either already full or if it refuses to accept the fact that's being presented. That's assuming that the peg is there in the first place.
This leads us to the second aspect of reaching others: communication. I can't get you to accept a fact, reasoning, or idea if you have reasons for not accepting them but ONLY YOU KNOW what your reasons for refusing my facts/logic/sense ARE.
I.E. information is important, yes, but without communication we won't get very far. Of course it'll help if you actually know or understand what's in the way of accepting a new fact/reasoning/idea in your own mind, but assuming that's clear, only communication will bring out what's in the way.

I might not only know something and wish to share it with others but have actually researched what i know quite thorougly and be able to answer or counter any notions that oppose it. If there is only monologue [like in a forum post... sigh], there's no way to broach the endless possible obstacles one might have in just adding a new fact/reasoning/idea on to a peg in your mind, even though that might be quite possible.

The point is that we're being offered new information/reasoning/ideas all of the time and it's what's IN THE WAY OF ACCEPTING THEM that's the reason for our own personal information/logic/sense remaining the same (instead of evolving as it might with all of the resources at our disposal nowadays).
Just like i didn't have to improve my sense of smell in order to start smelling the office machines in the above example, you don't need new information [let alone more understanding or something] as much as you might need to LOSE an idea/belief/misconception/etc. in order to accept certain new facts/logic/sense.

Infotainment is about just throwing more and more information out there in the futile hope that that'll bring about more knowledge. First of all communication is missing. Second of all what's missing is a forum where and how said communication can take place.
We then arrive to what i've come up with years ago: the pillars of society are information, communication, and organisation. It's a trinity. Neither is any good without the other.

HOW to COMMUNICATE WHAT?
Organisation to Communicate Information

Infotainment is just like mainstream politics: "Let's throw unlimited financial resources at a problem and SOMEHOW it'll work itself out". Well, it doesn't, does it?
The same applies for infotainment, i.e. just throwing more and more information out there in the hope that SOMEHOW it'll get absorbed. Won't work. Never. No matter how long it takes. Just like throwing money at the world is just allowing the world to get poorer, sicker, and more miserable,, information will never come across without the means for it to GET across.

The first thing to KNOW, therefore, is how to get WHAT YOU KNOW out of your own mind into that of others. That'll take communicating with others. That'll take organizing a form of communication that allows the exchange of information.
Such a forum does not now exist. I'd be working on it already but i myself haven't the funds.
The only option right now is for people to participate in this forum/board. It's an inherently flawed option because someone has to be trusted [i.e. me, as owner of the board] but until a proper organisation can be established, it's your best bet for reaching others online and actually getting somewhere IMHO.
The only other option is preparing for TEOTWAWKI on your own, as i've mentioned before.

communication

Communication, organisation, and information are the pillars to civilization. People commonly don't understand, however, what communication is or what it can be.

There's a lot of talk about "mainstream" or "lamestream media" with good reason. Actually, this is where the rubber meets the road: when someone communicates something to you outside the mainstream, you likely have never heard of it before. The easiest response is to dismiss said communication since it lies outside the mainstream. Similarly, it may lay inside the mainstream or outside the mainstream but in your own field of knowledge, but outside your comfort zone. Either way, it's easy to dismiss anything that you can argue against with a:
"Everybody i know thinks that idea's ridiculous" or "If that's true, then everyone's crazy" (or some such knee-jerk response).

The truth is that it's not "If that's true then everyone's crazy" but it's "If that's true then everyone I know is crazy", which is a big difference.

During Hitler Germany 90% of the population appreciated Adolf Hitler. It would have been extremely easy, convenient, and comfortable to every single one of those millions to reason that everyone they knew thought the same as they did.
According to research like that of The Milgram Experiment about 2/3 to 3/4 of the population is suffering from an authoritarian trauma that allows them to torture and kill a complete stranger for no other reason than because some authority figure compells them to.
For these untold billions of people 2 questions apply in particular:
- "What about the billions who won't kill on demand?
- "Are people who won't kill on demand 'special', superhuman, or misled?

The self-fulfilling prophecy always seems to apply: people who abuse others tell themselves that people who aren't abusing others today are just accidents waiting to happen. They're just waiting for an opportunity to abuse. "No one abuses non-stop".

Communication never happens with these excuses.
Communication is about taking what's said seriously, not about knee-jerk reactions to what's said, reactions that are in line with mainstream assumptions and beliefs.

Most people never communicate. They only exchange opinions in the hope that they appease general (im)morality, assumptions, and beliefs.
If 2 or 3 people were to genuinely communicate, they would move so far outside the mainstream that they would personally [i.e. not what they say but who says it] be deemed strange, superhuman, misguided, or even worse: dangerous.
If a handful of people were actually to start communicating with one another, they would be able to establish deeds unheard of by the mainstream.

Usually, only individuals are able to communicate in their own minds; if you are able to step outside of your comfort zone, you can attain heights mainstream souls cannot conceive. It's nothing special, just like not falling for Hitler's rhetoric was nothing special. The opposite is 'special', i.e. especially sick.

Even people able of stepping outside their comfort zone have no idea what to expect when they communicate with like minds. This world culls such relationships, mainly by demanding that anybody demanding to be heard or wishing to partake be accepted into the circle of communication. Ignorance of this reality is what keeps healthy people separated from each other, limiting what they might accomplish together.

dealing with naysayers

I am sure we all have family members and 'friends' in our lives who think we are nuts to want to create/join a community, or even live a different life to what is considered socially acceptable.

Personally speaking we are getting a LOT of very negative energy being directed at us because of the hard choices that we have made. So are you experiencing any 'problems' with 'well meaning' people in your lives?

i've been writing about such things on anno70.nl with articles like Preparing For Hard Times: Dangerous Acquaintances .

A friend of ours who left Zurich to go back to Arizona for reasons of future and safety had her parents-in-law accusing them of joining some cult or something. That's dangerous talk because it just takes one call to the police for them to rain all kinds of disaster on any innocent person [Swiss law is especially severe in these matters]. The police live for that kind of thing and 'shoot first and ask questions later'.
I myself have had in-laws bring police to my door to have them take away my son because i was somehow endangering him. They come, the police. They'll probably do it, take away your kids, with little to no reasons. Again, i speak from personal experience.

My point: don't underestimate the damage family can and will do when you turn your back on authorities, culture, and common paradigms. You may think you're doing them no harm, but what i explain in articles like Terror's True Face is that psychological research shows how your turning your back on 'savior authorities' like the govt threatens most people's existencialism on a primal level, turning them into a Mr. Hide to their Dr. Jekyll.

In my own case there's one brother that i've entrusted with my location, instructing him not to tell anyone else anything more than that i'm off to the Canaries, not the island and not my address.
Turning your back on THEIR lives, what kind of reactions do you see it calling forth? Imagine that effect multiplied many times over when things become many times more serious. Read my articles to understand better what processes take place to make that happen. It's easier to accept the truth when you understand what's happening.

That means that dealing with nay-sayers means not volunteering more information than you 'have to' and certainly not informing anyone who doesn't 'need to know' any particulars about your plans or future location. It could mean lying or avoiding certain conversations. First of all it means accepting what people who stay behind WON'T be, i.e. happy for you, accepting, etc.

suicidal family members

Fukushima woman eats high radiation diet because she can't say no to her mother
One businesswoman from Fukushima prefecture (state, not city) told me in a 20-minute chance interview, however, that she is not able to be so cautious. She is forced to eat at least 50% of her diet consisting of food with 40 times the level of radiation considered safe.
"How so?" I asked. "If you can fill half of your diet with safe food, why not all of it?"
She replied, "It's my mother. She refuses to believe anything is wrong with our local food. So, she makes me eat it."
"How old are you?"
"Thirty-nine."
