They can stand cold temperatures well, don't eat much, and don't move much. They are the most popular breed for fur breeding (along with the chinchilla breed). A medium sized rabbit that's pretty hardy.nondisclosed_email@example.com (TheLivingShadow)Sat, 14 Jun 2014 14:51:01 +0000 butchering, skinning, etc.https://b2012overleven.runboard.com/p2814,from=rss#post2814https://b2012overleven.runboard.com/p2814,from=rss#post2814Butchering with scissorsnondisclosed_email@example.com (TheLivingShadow)Sat, 19 Jan 2013 14:24:28 +0000 big rabbitshttps://b2012overleven.runboard.com/p2791,from=rss#post2791https://b2012overleven.runboard.com/p2791,from=rss#post2791 Advantage of big rabbits: - they can't jump and escape as well - they feed a bunch of people - they can fend off small predatorsnondisclosed_email@example.com (TheLivingShadow)Mon, 10 Dec 2012 20:25:20 +0000 Rabbitshttps://b2012overleven.runboard.com/p757,from=rss#post757https://b2012overleven.runboard.com/p757,from=rss#post757I have researched animals for prepping and found rabbits to be a prime choice Other good options (i'd consider on top of and after rabbits) would be (scobie) ducks and small sheep. Rabbits actually don't eat that much grass as i'd thought and prefer leafy food, but both ducks and sheep will take to the grass. Also, i was surprised when viewing [youtube and such] vids showing how to butcher rabbits; it's quick, clean, humane, and easy. Good to have watched, if even once. article: Meat Rabbitsnondisclosed_email@example.com (TheLivingShadow)Tue, 26 Jul 2011 14:45:42 +0000
