(true)news
In this Mercola article on dangerous common foods, perhaps the most interesting bit reads as follows:
a Florida appeals court denied [two Fox-affiliate investigative journalists who...attempted to air a program exposing the truth about the dangers of rBGH] whistleblower protection, claiming Fox (and the media in general) have no obligation to tell the truth and have the freedom to report, essentially, fact OR fiction as real news.
So many people ASSUME that if it's printed, it's truth, somehow not only putting faith in government [an insane notion at the best of times] but carrying it much further, assuming that government somehow arranges that ALL industries and companies are prohibited from anything detrimental or evil/dark. Though the source of such insanity is clear to anyone who's studied Alice Miller's works, that it IS insanity and nothing else must be clear as one realizes that people simply refuse to believe anything inhuman or dangerious CAN be allowed to not just exist in, not just flourish in, but actually reign over their world. Supposedly they're protected by savior authorities and the Fed, the FDA, whole destructive industries are simply BELIEVED to be okay because of their disease, even though such parties have no connection to government (except in how they control it!).
The above quote, however, should make clear once and for all: what you read, what you hear, what you're told,, is nothing more than whatever someone somewhere for some reason considered appropriate to put out there. It's nothing more and nothing less. Actually, it's worse than that: if a car company tells you their products are good when they break down, they are in danger of being sued; if it's "news", however, it's 'just an opinion'! People who bring you "news" are therefore protected by the ultimate sanction: they're simply, by law, not obligated to ANYTHING other than filling up their media with whatever they please (until someone somehow manages to proove in a court of law that it hurts people).

Occupied America: Senate bill 1867
Occupied America: Senate bill 1867 would allow U.S. military to detain and murder anti-government protesters in American cities
I don't know if you're all getting this through your heads yet, but Senate Bill 1867 -- the National Defense Authorization Act -- would openly "legalize" the U.S. government's detainment and murder of OWS protesters and the assassination of talk show hosts, bloggers, journalists and anyone who holds a so-called "anti-government" point of view. This is the open and blatant declaration of war against any who do not going along with TSA thugs reaching down your pants, the Goldman Sachs economic takeover of nations, the secret arrest and torture of American citizens, and other acts of outright tyranny waged by an out-of-control government.
Those who have been burying their heads in the sand over the coming police state need to wake up and face the music. That U.S. Senators would knowingly and willfully attempt to pass a bill that legalizes the indefinite detainment, torture and killing of American citizens with no due process whatsoever -- and on American soil! -- is nothing less than a traitorous betrayal of the once-free American people. These are, our founding fathers would have said, acts of war against the People. They reveal the insidious plan to put in place a legal framework to end the Bill of Rights, murder protesters, and overrun America with total police state brutality.
I grow weary of trying to warn the American people to wake up and see what is now right in front of their eyes, so for those who want to read these words themselves -- right in the Senate bill -- you can read it at: http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query...
And YES, it has now been confirmed that the indefinite detainment and murder provisions do apply to American citizens on the streets of American cities. As Sen. Lindsey Graham explained in plain language on the Senate floor: "...1031, the statement of authority to detain, does apply to American citizens and it designates the world as the battlefield, including the homeland."
That means America, for those of you who are still wondering what "homeland" means. It's a phrase borrowed from Nazi Germany, of course, which is the source of much of this legislation as you might have noticed.
"The power is so broad that even U.S. citizens could be swept up by the military and the military could be used far from any battlefield, even within the United States itself," says the ACLU

growing food a government privilege rather than a human right
NZ food bill to make growing food a government privilege rather than a human right.
The God-given human right to freely cultivate food is under attack in New Zealand (NZ) as special interest groups and others are currently attempting to push a "food security" bill through the nation's parliament that will strip individuals of their right to grow food, save seeds, and even share the fruits of their labor with friends and family members.
In accordance with the World Trade Organization's (WTO) Codex Alimentarius scheme for global food control, the NZ Food Bill, if passed, will essentially transfer primary control of food from individuals to corporations under the guise of food safety. And unless massive public outcry and awakened consciences within the NZ government are able to put a stop to it, the bill could become law very soon.
According to NZ Food Security, a group working to protect the food freedom of New Zealanders, the bill will turn growing and sharing food into a government-granted privilege rather than a human right. It will also make it illegal to distribute any type of food based on the bill's language. This includes seeds, nutrients, natural medicines, minerals, and even water -- without expressed government permission.

National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)
Obama to fill Gitmo with Americans as NDAA law passes.
The right to due process in America is coming to a sudden end as traitorous members of Congress have now passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which gives the U.S. military the power to arrest, detain, interrogate, torture and murder U.S. citizens inside the United States, with no due process.
President Obama, who had previously said he would oppose the bill (because he claimed he already had the power to kill Americans outside the law), now says he will support it and presumably sign it. The White House even issued a statement, which is one of the most astonishing and Big Brother-ish examples of doublespeak yet observed coming out of the Obama administration:
"We have concluded that the language does not challenge or constrain the President's ability to collect intelligence, incapacitate dangerous terrorists, and protect the American people, and the President's senior advisors will not recommend a veto..."
Of course, by "protect the American people" what they really mean is that they will shred the Peoples' protections under the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

new legal mores: guilty until proven innocent
Forced DNA extraction of suspects, without a warrant, fully approved by federal court
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, the nation's most liberal, ruled recently that California cops can continue collecting DNA samples to put in a national database from everyone they arrest on a felony, even before that suspect has been proven guilty in a court of law and, worse, without a warrant or court order directing them to be collected.
Moreover, the court said the government had a more compelling interest in collecting the genetic information than yet-to-be-convicted suspects did in protecting their privacy, let alone their right to assert they're innocent until proven guilty.

Insane Michigan government announces plan to destroy ranch livestock based on hair color and arrest hundreds of ranchers as felons
Michigan's (Department of Natural Resources) Invasive Species Order suddenly and shockingly defines virtually all open-range pigs raised by small family farms to be illegal "invasive species," and possession of just one of these animals is now a felony crime in Michigan, punishable by up to four years in prison.
The state has said it will "destroy" these pigs beginning in April, potentially by raiding local farms with government-issued rifles, then shooting the pig herds while arresting the members of the family and charging them with the "crime" of raising pigs with the wrong hair color.

Fury after girls are given contraceptive implants without parental consent
Parents in the UK were said to be furious that girls as young as 13 were given contraceptive implants, without parental consent it has been reported. In an incentive by the Solent NHS Trust, nine schools and three colleges allowed the scheme which was initiated in 2009.
Norman Wells, Director of the FET commented in the 'Daily mail' that 'parents send their children to school to get a good education, not to be undermined by health workers who give their children contraceptives behind their backs'. He continued 'If health authorities are really interested in reducing teenage pregnancy rates, they should be looking for ways to discourage underage people from engaging in sexual activity in the first place'.

Fresno Calif. police drown man with garden hose after tasering and hogtying him
An unnamed officer tasered Rosas for at least ten minutes before hogtying him with his ankles tied to his handcuffs behind his back. The officer proceeded to slam Rosas down onto the ground, pressing his knee into Rosas' back. When Rosas asked for water, the officer brought over the garden hose and essentially tortured Rosas with it, spraying it in his face until he could no longer breathe. Ignoring pleas from nearby neighbors to cease, as Rosas was obviously no longer breathing, the officer continued to run hose water over the man's face. Not long after, at least 15 additional deputies and officers reportedly arrived on the scene, upon which they finally decided to try to help Rosas. But by this time it was too late.

WAR PLAN IRAN
Dispelling the Lies, Telling the Truth about Western Aggression in the Persian Gulf
Iran is an energy-rich colossus, with oil and, more importantly, natural gas reserves that put it, with approximately 10% of global reserves, in the world’s top three oil economies alongside Washington’s client states of Saudi Arabia and Iraq. In sharp contrast, the US has less than 2% of global oil reserves. Tehran has shown itself to be a trenchant critic of Western imperialist meddling in the region and fawning over the criminal Israeli persecution of Palestinians. Another important source of Western animus towards Iran and the deeply held desire for regime change is the loss that the Iranian revolution implies for the lucrative American, British and French weapons industry. When Shah Mohammad Rezā Pahlavi was kicked out in February 1979, so too was a massive market for Western arms dealers. The recent $50 billion arms sales to Saudi Arabia – the “biggest-ever in history” – that had the Pentagon salivating, would be easily replicated in Iran, if a similar client regime could be installed there. The conquest of Iran's oil riches is the driving force behind America's military agenda.

Plume-Gate: Fukushima #4
Fukushima reactor No. 4 vulnerable to catastrophic collapse; could unleash 85 times Cesium-137 radiation of Chernobyl; human civilization on the brink
The executive branch and multiple federal agencies, agencies tasked with keeping the American public safe, did their best to hide and to cover-up information about a deadly radioactive plume and ensuing fallout that was headed for the West Coast of the United States from Japan. The evidence obtained in the FOIA request indicates that right from the start, the NRC had a clear idea of the significance of the disaster that was unfolding, but concealed the truth from the American public. The results of the plume and fallout can be measured in the rise of infant mortality rates. Conservative estimates place the number of stillborn following the Fukushima accident at over 18,000.
