certain supplements
Fish oil
According to Atom Bergstrom:
Short-term use of cod liver oil is therapeutic, but EXCESS cod liver oil used over an extended period of TIME (and at the WRONG TIME of day) is a certified freeway to bronchial pneumonia.
According to Brian Peskin (who also bases his opinions on research that cannot even be found online) fish oils are there for FOR FISH. Fish live in cold waters and the colder the water, the more fish oil they contain. He says the typical attribute of fish oil is that they remain in their liquid state under cold conditions; that attribute in turn results in these oils turning rancid quickly, or immediately, under warm conditions i.e in the human body. This in turn, he explains, leads to oxidative stress, i.e. the oils oxidate before and after being consumed, leading to unhealthy conditions.
Also avoid Vit. C or iron when you have the flu. Iron feeds the virusses and Vit. C increases uptake of iron.

energy drinks
Girl, 14, died 'after drinking two cans of Monster Energy drink'
Anais Fournier suffered a heart attack which her family claims was brought on my 'caffeine toxicity' after she drank the Monster Energy drinks.
The teenager, who had a disorder than can weaken blood vessels, died two days before Christmas last year after the drink affected her heart's ability to pump blood.
The drink has been linked to five deaths and one non-fatal heart attack. The 24oz can of Monster Energy contains 240 milligrams of caffeine - three times as much as nearest rival Red Bull.

(liquids in) plastic bottles
This is what a plastic bottle looks like before it's filled with hot compressed air. Then, seconds later, its filled with whatever drink [i.e. water, coke, etc.].
Such a blown plastic bottle would actually require about a year for the chemicals to settle and to be safe to come into contact with foodstuffs. However, since this generation is ignorant/oblivious/disrespectful of the dangers of the xeno-estrogentic qualities of such chemicals, people voluntarily imbibe such things on a daily basis, thereby fundamentally undermining the working of the body (since hormones determine all body functions).
