The prisoners aren't allowed to keep, have, or do much but they manage this much.It provides meat that they sell to officers but in a real survival situation, the same set-up might at least provide for some proteins. Rats are true omnivores, unlike people who are actually fructarians and would only like to believe they are. Rats can, therefore, eat all kinds of scraps and stuff that people might throw away. In the end rats might be a decent source of food for your dogs. In a worst case scenario, you can cook them for yourself. A better choice for omnivores to keep might be chickens or muscovy ducks. After all, they provide protein in the form of eggs without having to sacifice the animal. One might keep such fowl for oneself and keep rats for the dogs, but keep the rats as a backup in case nuclear winter turns out to last too long or something.nondisclosed_email@example.com (TheLivingShadow)Fri, 10 Apr 2015 12:33:36 +0000 foodhttps://b2012overleven.runboard.com/p3566,from=rss#post3566https://b2012overleven.runboard.com/p3566,from=rss#post3566Sprouting Goat Feed - plastic container - 4 cups of seed [wheat/barley/etc] - 2 liters of water - holes in the bottom allow drip to containers below - 2 containers a day for 3 goats [morning & evening]nondisclosed_email@example.com (TheLivingShadow)Fri, 10 Apr 2015 12:12:11 +0000
